She needs to learn to be held.
She needs to learn to trust.
She needs to let go of her fears.
She needs to feel safe.
She is sound asleep in her crate. It was a much smoother first evening than I expected.
Your future is BRIGHT little Sunshine!
I can't wait for everyone to meet her!

Welcome Baby Girl!
MARCH 21st, 2012
Here she is, arriving in the middle of my busy Spring Break. Why? Because I can't say no to a baby in need.
Her name was Chee Chaw. That's fugly.
I have been calling her "Rosy."
I named her after a client's puppy named Rosie who has a loving owner with her best interest at heart. Rosie the Doodle pup, is a happy girl with a great start in life. This is what I plan for Rosy to have as well.
Rosy is 5 mos old. She is in rescue because she was purchased as an accessory and did not come potty trained. She also is terrified when you approach her crate. So terrified that she will scream, pee, poop, roll on her back and cover her face with her paws. This puppy has had an AWFUL start in life.

That is now her past. My focus is on her future.
She is here to learn to hold her head high and represent her breed.
She is doing very well compared to her report from the day care she
was staying at until I got lower on dogs. When I heard that she was not leaving her crate without a melt down and that she was stressed by the noise of the dogs there, I figured more damage would be done by leaving her until Spring Break was over.

Tomorrow
we will meet Buddha and she will have many sweet doggie friends that
will help her realize how fun a puppy's life should be at her age.
